America the Beautiful Quarters by Release Date
|
The United States Mint has announced the "America the Beautiful" quarters
program. Starting in 2010 there will be 5 new sets of P&D quarters issued each year until
all states, district and territories have been released in 2021. The quarters will be issued sequentially each year, in the
order in which the quarter's park was first established as a national park or
site. I do not plan on carrying these
quarters. The Mint generally puts it's bags and
two-roll sets of quarters on sale on a Monday that is not a holiday. The
historical ship dates are shown below. The next projected ship date is
posted as soon as the US Mint posts it or when I get an informal indication
which I mark with a "?". Neither the US Mint or this web site guarantee
the quarters will ship then.

For a president's image to be eligible for a coin, the president must be dead
for two years. I do not plan on carrying these dollars. The
historical ship dates are shown below. The next projected ship date is
posted as soon as the US Mint posts it or when I get an informal indication
which I mark with a "?". Neither the US Mint or this web site guarantee
the quarters will ship

The US Mint states that one should allow 4 to 6 weeks after the Mint's posted
ship date before receiving the shipment, but in practice the shipment usually arrives in 6
to 10 days. Unlike the US Mint, I do guaranties that your quarters will
ship within 24 hours of receipt from the US Mint for all prepaid orders or after
your personal check clears.
